Queens, New York duo Mobb Deep will release their first group project in six years, Black Cocaine on November 22. Prodigy and Havoc announced this morning that the self-released EP will come in two versions. The pair will release a five-song digital version of the project.

In addition, Mobb Deep has opted to support independent retailers by providing a limited-edition seven-song version of Black Cocaine as well. This will only be available only on starting November 25, otherwise known as “Black Friday.” “We wanted to give something to the fans that have been waiting for new Mobb Deep music ” says Prodigy.  “This limited edition EP is a collectors’ item for die hard Mobb Deep fans” adds Havoc.

HipHopDX originally printed that the Black Cocaine: Deluxe Edition would only be available for 24 hours. That has subsequently been corrected after spokespeople for Mobb Deep clarified.
