With an upcoming album in Ambition, Wale has provided some details on his first Maybach Music Group solo release to Albany’s Scott Radio.

“DJ Toomp, Tone P, Tha Bizness…we kept the production [to a limited number of producers], I didn’t want to be all over the place,” explained the Washington, D.C. native of his album’s cohesive sound. “It’s one of them projects that sounds solid, like a body of work.”

Wale also spoke on songs he looks forward to having his fans hear. “I got a lot of ’em. ‘No Days Off,’ ‘Sabotage,’ ‘Flower Bomb,’ ‘D.C. or Nothing.’ …Every song sounds like a commercial for a feeling.”

Wale also revealed that he intends to work with Mark Ronson again. The pair collaborated on  Wale’s 100 Miles & Running, The Mixtape About Nothing, and Attention Deficit. “That’s my guy. I’m looking forward to doing another project with him. After this album is due, I should be doing a project with Mark.”
