Fake Shore Drive and TEHO Media recently caught up with G.O.O.D. Music’s southern signee CyHi Da Prynce backstage along the Heineken Red Star Access and G.O.O.D. Music tour. The Atlanta emcee discussed his highly anticipated debut album. Although Cy didn’t revealed any of the other emcees expected to grace his LP, he did list a number of producers that he’s looking to work with on the project, including Just Blaze, the Alchemist, No I.D. and of course, Mr. West himself.

“We just got it [to the point] of conversating[sic] about my album,” the G.O.O.D. Music hopeful explained. “But it will feature a lot of the producers that I used on Royal Flush…[like] Kanye [West], J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, [DJ] Toomp. I’ve got CKP on there…you know, all the guys in-house that I’m real close knit with and [in] Atlanta, where I’m from. But I want to reach out to different people, like the Alchemist, Just Blaze…No I.D., of course, so [with all] that shit I want it to be somewhere in that range.”

He added, “As far as features, I really couldn’t even tell you. We’re actually in the beginning stage. We’re gathering the guns and the bullets and the bulletproof vests and the helmets and the uniforms to put on for war, so we’re just getting our artillery together.”

CyHi also addressed his labelmates Kanye West and Pusha T’s highly-publicized feud with former G.O.O.D. Music alum Consequence. Cy kept it diplomatic, saying that Cons’s issue with his partners is his business and that he is too recent a signee to render an opinion on the matter. He also added that as long as they keep their beef to wax, then no harm can really come of it.

“I think the music speaks for itself on that end,” he said. “I don’t really know [the] relationships and business ventures and whatever – I’m the new guy. I just do me. I don’t really worry about it as long as it don’t get out of hand, like it gets threatening and stuff. If it just stays on wax and stuff, I’m cool. I think that’s…rap…[but] I do Hip Hop.”
