Ne-Yo Stars In George Lucas-Produced "Red Tails," Trailer Released

The smooth crooner hits the big screen alongside Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard and more.

Ne-Yo is set to hit the big screen in the upcoming film Red Tails, written and executive produced by George Lucas and directed by Anthony Hemingway. The flick, landing in theaters on January 20, 2012, also stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston, Tristan Wilds and more.

Red Tails tells the story of "the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots to fly in a combat squadron during World War II." In the recently released trailer, Ne-Yo appears as his character Andrew "Smoky" Salem in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo.
