After the buzz from Lil Wayne’s Sorry 4 the Wait last week, this week proved to be even more eventful on the mixtape front. Pill dropped The Diagnosis, the DJ Scream-hosted tape which offered tracks like “One of These Days” and the MMG posse cut remix for “Pacman” . Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers was slated for a release around now, but just as fast as “Middle Of Da Summer”  hit the streets, Meek’s mix moved to an August 11th release. In some surprising mixtape news, Chris Brown will be dropping his own Hip Hop-inspired mixtape Boy In Detention. Brown dropped some teasers like “Real Hip Hop Shit 3” and “Real Hip Hop Shit 4” both produced by 9th Wonder.

Chris Brown collaborator Game (see “Pot Of Gold” ) will be dropping a DJ Skee-hosted mixtape Condoms & Candy Coronas prior to the August 23rd release of Game’s R.E.D. Album. Whether or not his most recent diss track “Uncle Otis” will be present on the project remains to be seen. Game dropped Purp & Patron and The Hangover last year around the time of the first R.E.D. pushback. Speaking of diss tracks, another possible Movies On Demand 3 track leaked by Consequence, “The Plagurist Society” against Pusha T with hints toward a brewing diss track against Kanye West.

While Cam’ron and Vado have yet to announce a formal release date for the DJ Drama trilogy release Boss Of All Bosses 3, a cover has been produced, bringing it on step closer to release. Other artists in the pipeline with mixtapes coming are Ludacris, Wale, and even Raekwon – all of which are currently untitled.
