Last week Lil Wayne ruled the mixtape world, as Sorry 4 the Wait arrived with a bang. The project placed Weezy over a bunch of known beats, including his protege Drake’s “Marvin’s Room” , “Racks” and even “Gucci Gucci” . Lil B checks in on the mixtape as well for “Grove St. Party” . Sorry 4 the Wait serves as a precursor to Tha Carter IV dropping August 29th. In anticipation of other big albums, Game should be dropping his mixtape prior to August 23rd’s release of The R.E.D. Album. Ludacris jumps in the race as he also plans to drop a mixtape before Ludaversial, which as of right now has no definitive release date.

This week, MMG’s Meek Mill will be dropping Dream Chaser. Pill also has The Diagnosis coming soon, hosted by DJ Scream. OJ Da Juiceman will be joined by Don Cannon for the upcoming Lord Of the Rings while DJ Holiday will drop the 4th installment of Holiday Season arriving sometime this month. In addition, producer Nick Catchdubs assists Jackie Chain on a new mixtape After Hours. Most of July is up in the air dates-wise, but we have a lot to look forward to.
