Fabolous is currently prepping the September 13th release Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power, the follow-up to 2009’s Loso’s Way. Speaking with BBC Radio 1’s Tim Westwood, the Brooklyn, New York rapper explained that he’s working with a mix of established and unknown producers for the project and is still in the recording process.
“I’m about to lock in. That was one of the reasons I put the [S.O.U.L. Tape
He also reflected on his first single “Can’t Deny It” featuring the late Nate Dogg and how the song had a great impact on coastal relations. “I definitely wish we could have collaborated more with Nate. I definitely think we made some great records together. I always saluted Nate for jumping on my first single just coming out the gate. We made a great record, and it even symbolized the East and the West Coast doing records again. After the time of the whole East Coast/West Coast beef, there wasn’t many people from the East and the West really collaborating, so me and Nate kind of put our necks out there and collaborated together and made great music.”
