Jay Rock collaborated with Rick Ross on the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced track “Finest Hour,”
“Basically, I had recorded that record in Atlanta, shout out to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. I was at the studio, they came through, shot me some beats and we got it in,” he said. “I just wrote the record out there in Atlanta and I hollered at Rick Ross when I was in Miami with Birdman, and we was up in the studio, Cash Money Studios, and I hollered at him. Said I’ve got a record I’d like you to jump on, and he said I got you. That was the record.”
Jay was recently spotted in the studio with Terrace Martin and Dr. Dre, who doesn’t contribute production to Follow Me Home but helped provide guidance. “They came through and brought that good energy for me. Shout out to DJ Quik. He mixed ‘All My Life,’
Follow Me Home is slated for release on July 26th, and features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross and will.i.am.
