50 Cent’s acting resume keeps growing. The G-Unit leader has signed on to star in the film Odd Thomas, adapted by Stephen Sommers from the bestselling novel by Dean Koontz.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was the last to sign on to the film, in which he will play “Shamus Cocobolo, a blind deejay who helps the titular hero [played by Anton Yelchin] uncover a Satanic plot. The flick, which begins production immediately in Santa Fe, New Mexico, also stars Addison Timlin, Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nico Tortorella.

The Queens, New York native is set to appear in the upcoming film Set Up alongside Bruce Willis and Ryan Phillippe. He recently inked a deal to appear alongside Willis in Fire with Fire, and is currently filming Freelancers with Forest Whitaker and Robert De Niro.
