Jadakiss Records Verse For Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV"

Jada also reveals he was in the lab with Young Jeezy and is readying a mixtape for later this month.

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV is by far the year’s most heavily anticipated album, Hip Hop or otherwise. While the album goes through the seemingly mandatory delay process before its official release, now scheduled for June 21st, everyone is attempting to figure out who is going to share the spotlight with Weezy. Well, Jadakiss has just let a little information slip out about a track that is supposed to wind up on The Carter IV.

Speaking with Vibe, the Yonkers, New York emcee stated, “I just recorded a joint for Tha Carter IV…As far as I know it’s a 100% [chance of making the album]. It’s supposed to be me, Weezy, [Young] Jeezy and Drake—that’s what Mack [Maine, Young Money President] told me. I can’t remember the name of the song but it’s pain on the record. It’s definitely some deep lyrics, not just some popping bottles shit.” Jada and Wayne previously worked together on the former’s 2009 single “Death Wish.”

Jadakiss also has another big collaboration in the works. “I also got to do something for Jeezy's TM103 today or tomorrow,” he said. He believes these two songs will be extremely diverse and far-reaching, stating, “Those joints are going to cover a lot of ground.” Jadakiss’ own new release, a mixtape entitled I Love You, is set to drop in two weeks on May 24th

Wayne Garbage?? As usual reading comments is like watch republican & Democratic strategists arguing.. Everybody goes to the extremes & the truth is somewhere in the middle. Is he over saturated? Probably Is he as dope as He was Around Carter 2 and the mixtape he dropped in that Time?Maybee Not Does He still possess the skills, talent, technique that he had in that time? Hell yeah I just think his style/content has gotten repetitive and less interesting. I'd like to hear more Tie my Hands & My Generation ( DR Feature) Weezy than Lifes a bich so I fucked her Weezy. He still rhymes his ass off but a lot of his stuff now is about nothing or of little importance. But He's Not Garbage. Nor is He the Greatest. soundclick.com/showtimeny

Enemy... (enemy...) Andre 3000: So I'm watchin' her fine ass Walked to my bedroom, and thought to myself That's the shape of things to come She said, "Why you in the club, and you don't make it precipitate? Yall want to talk about Wayne doing something, how about yall look to the right and look who's endorsing Crown Royal...What the hell have you seen Wayne endorsing, TI had Chevy, Em had GM and Nestea oh and did yall forget Em has an exclusive shoe with Jordan and i know more than half of you on here probably know and collect his shoes, i aint seen Wayne with none of that...So what really has Wayne done besides not pay producers for his hits...?

  • L-Boogie

Wayne has been garbage for years, his last good album was Tha Carter 1.

  • jason

Heck, just the fact that Nas has even done two songs with Wayne tells you something. If Biggie, Pac, Big L were still in the game they would all be doing songs with Wayne. Especially biggie

    • lil_tunechi

you are right about it,am sure each and every of them will.they will all gonna give wayne much respect.

    • L-Boogie

The labels put Weezy on Distant Relatives, it had nothing to do with Nas dude. Stop being a follower, just because record labels decide which rappers are popular at the moment doesn't mean you have to dickride them. Weezy sucks now face facts!!!!

    • Jace

Yeah it tells me he did it for albums sells and nothin more really

    • Marc Wilcox

@hellrazor these fools on here just said LL is a faggot and then im lookin at Jason comment sayin that Tupac would do a track Wayne...Where the fuck does this fool ever think that Tupac would ever do a track someone who kissed another man not to mention, what the fuck is wrong with these fools, If Biggie and Pac was still alive Wayne would not be at the level he is at right now thats a given fact...Jason get his dick out your throat and wipe his cum off your face...Hell even BET said that Em was better than Wayne and your trying to compare basically Outkast to who are a rap duo, if you listen to their individual tracks Big Boi - You Aint No DJ you or The Art of Storytellin Pt.4 you wouldnt be throwin Andre 3000 in this...Andre is on a way different level and on a different style Emceeing than Wayne...Andre you can understand his verses and get meaning out of it, nobody has yet to prove a legitimate point to what LYRICALLY sets Wayne apart from Em and Slaughterhouse and everyone, all im seeing is oh Wayne got bars, Wayne got money, Wayne got hits, Wayne is NOT going to touch diamond status EVER!!! since yall want to bring Curren$y into the mix why is when he left Young Money he blew up more? Somebody spit a Wayne verse Carter 3 and up that made some fucking sense and compare it to a verse that Andre 3000 spits and see who gets the better response...Don't Worry I'll fuckin wait...Royce and Crooked I are the only rappers as far as thought process that are on Em level, when your talking about making a track that has meaning Em has that but when i really want to hear that thats when i go to Nas, Outkast, Souls of Mischief, Rakim...hell at least when you hear someone like Wiz or Curren$y they stick to consistency which is rapping about smokin weed...Wayne doesn't have consistency or a brain to make a song that has meaning or lyrical value, Why the fuck would you make a song about I want to fuck every girl in the world or Lollipop and you supposed claim Blood get the fuck outta here...Yall get his dick out yall throats...Jason and Anonymous probably got his name tatted on they ass too...

    • hellrazor

if biggie was alive, he'd would probably put a blunt out on wayne's eyeball before cuttin a track with him. it's real funny how me and others diss your precious wayne and your reaction gives off the impression that you hyperventilate as you sense negativity towards your precious weezy

  • jason

Answer this you faggots: If Lil Wayne isn't one of the greatest MCs to ever grace the mic, how has he held his own with Nas on TWO different songs?

  • jason

Wayne has outrapped so many quality rappers on tracks. Jadakiss, Bun B, Snoop, Andre 3000, Curren$y, Q-Tip, Raekwon, Busta have all been outdone by Wayne on songs. He's also held his own with Nas, Em, Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane as well. Get a clue you fucking idiots.

    • Mag1c

@jason.."Wayne has outrapped so many quality rappers on tracks." WHOOO????NOT JADA, wayne had to say "shit n bitch" after er' rhyme to make it more clever on "Deathwish" EMINEM?? Em shitted, whipped, flush the Toilet on him in both their collabs. Busta NO(slow it down n you'll see), Andre3000 is LIGHTYEARS ahead of wayne, fuck popularity. Bun B...NOOO! The Chef, n NASIR?? Wat music do u listen to....wayne carter..expand ya music, He couldn't even keep up wit Cassidy on 6mins of death. Fab n Juelz had a better verse on "nothin on me" n Fab's verse was old(Gangsta walk). Fab beats him on "Salute, n That's not love" he's good I give em that, but not even Top 25. I'll give u snoop cuz that's not his strength but snoop still makes more sense than him. #RealTalk

    • hellrazor

it's more than obvious you got his balls in your mouth. reading your comments & seeing how hard you try to defend him is hilarious. you act like you on his payroll!!!

  • chrisg

Yal are all just a bunch of haters. If you dont like wayne then what the fuck are you doin on a page about the carter 4. Just cause you dont like his music don't mean shit!!!!! If you dont like, it dont listen to it faggots. And the carter 4 is hands down the most anticipated album of 2011!!!!!

  • AJ

if you actually listen to weezy's verses and pay attention to what he says you will respect his rhymes. People who dont think weezy is any good are ignorant and don't have the intelligence to understand what he says. Its poetry to smart people.

    • Anonymous

man I'm a hip hopper until the day I die. Don't tell me I don't listen deep enough into songs, because I do. Wayne does not say anything "special" enough to make me respect his rhymes.

    • Marc Wilcox

You sound just like Wayne not saying anything new...

  • Marc Wilcox

Im not a person that likes beef between rappers but after reading all these comments on here i really wish and pray for a beef to happen between Wayne and Slaughterhouse so that the world can see that Wayne is not the lyrical genius that people think he is...He never comes up with anything new its always "im something like this or im something like that" Tha Carter 4 is going to be no different from Tha Carter 3 and every other song he put out or was on...just different beats...As far as Jadakiss doing a verse with Wayne just ruined his career...thats like Eminem doing a track with Bieber...All you Wayne heads answer lets see who will think outside the box...Whats something that Wayne could come up with that he could really follow through with and that he doesnt say in all his rhymes that could really say he's better lyrically than Slaughterhouse or Em? What he going to say he got more money? already said that, he own Young Money? Heck Cory Gunz is the only notable rapper in that group, he gon have the bloods go after him? 40 glocc shut him up on that one ON YOUTUBE, oh wait he can say he kissed a man publically, so to all yall what can Wayne possible come up with to show he is the Rapper yall hype him up to be?

    • Mag1c

I'd rather see a Cassidy vs Wayne cuz they both had sum subliminal words to say bout 1another. Cass wins tho, unless we go by sales but Fuck sales, BAR for BAR, Metaphor for Metaphor, Simile to Simile, Need I say Punchlines..Cass FTW. Now I would like Shady 2.0(Em, SH, Yelawolf) vs Ym n they new additions. Team Shady FTW. Lyrically ym are the Power rangers to the Avengers.

    • Anonymous

Most guys who come in here at the end of the day to talk shit about Wayne need to to show their own favourite artist is better. That's why eminem crops up in so many Wayne articles and vice versa. Jason may love weezy and too right. I loved Wayne from 06-08 and why? He single handedly carried hip hop on his back and dropped songs by the day killing artists such as jada, scarface, bun b and releasing good hooks. Go to any site and go back to weezys songs from then and the comments are filled with people who loved him. People who anticipated his next song. You might not like his style of rapping and fair enough but you have to say that he mastered his style and was in his prime a god to some people. He ony started getting hated on when he turned rock and eminem came back with all his stans creeping out. Stans of eminem will go out of their way to promote their artist. Their blind. Relapse to the stans was a outstanding album worthy of being placed up their with the likes of illmatic. In reality it was horrible. Some Wayne fans are like that but not many. Plus the way Wayne is constantly changing the way he sounds people will liike his flow better from drought better to Carter 2 or will like his no ceilings sound more than drought 3 or carter 3. Eminem always has sounded the same bar when he first came out as he was speed rapping and ditched it.

    • hellrazor

@ marc wilcox, eminem's marshall mathers LP did go diamond. wayne may be platinum (ugh!) but he'll never go diamond. em may have fallen off a bit but he still shits on wayne any day of the week and many other MCs including slaughterhouse'll wipe the floor with his own dreads. jason probably has a fuckin weezy shrine with candles around it, gets on his knees & starts rockin back & forth while mumbling. what a fuckin loser that dude is.

    • jason

"As far as Jadakiss doing a verse with Wayne just ruined his career...thats like Eminem doing a track with Bieber." Are you ignorant or just stupid? Jadakiss already did a song with Wayne a long time ago you moron. "Death Wish". And Wayne had the much better verse. Next time get a clue before posting.

    • Right On

you guys are all suckers. ll is a faggot, slaughterhouse sucks, tech n9ne is tight, eminem is one of the greats, and lil wayne is a fuck up who single handedly washed away rap with bullshit talk its as simple as that. now to argue about c4 is just straight ignorant you never know what any artist will do, but on the other hand its most likely gunna be the same stupid shit.

    • Anonymous

Yea an album ten years ago. That says it all. most of his fans are the kids that loved his funny singles that were horrible and who listen to only him. Wayne got 1 million in a week with carter 3 and guess what? Illegal downloading had exploded a good few years by the time c3 was released. We can save the shit talking for when C4 comes out. I'm opptimistic. It could be horrible but could be surprisingly good. C2 was lyrically great, c3 had a good sound with some standout songs such as a millie, lollipop and dr carter two lyrically great and one that gained so much success. This isn't rock and it isn't an EP turned album. This is something he will care about. This is what will prove if he still indeed has it or if he doesn't.

    • Marc Wilcx

@asher1985 oh yea my favorite rapper went certified diamond THIS YEAR on the billboard charts off an album back from 2000 and thats more than Wayne could ever say he did in his career...otherwise i wouldn't be on this post talking about him....

    • Anonymous

Em used to have it lyrically he don't now and eminem is wanted on tracks because of his name. Say if he was ghost writing for someone. Nobody would claim that the person he ghost writing for is needed on their track. Everyone knows eminem and he will sell records no matter what he says at this point. Same with Wayne. Em and Wayne are the same, rappers who don't have the heat they used to. Rappers who sell records no matter how good or how bad. Wayne came off 2 straight years of hot verses on songs released every day and a prison sentence. Eminem came off with an addiction and a spell where he turned into a fat man which people like to forget. He was out of the game for a long time and came back with relapse, a horrible album and recovery, a average album worth a week if listening.

    • Marc Wilcox

@asher1985 if Wayne made GOOD music he would be on Kanye label that's good music... and if you havent read you just proved my point i said someone was going to say something about hit records...Slaughterhouse self titled album without going commercial was a hit record what are you talking, Royce and Em new track Fast Lane obviously you havent heared because once that really gets leaked out and heared by everyone thats going to shut everyone mouth about Royce and Em, answer this what has Wayne done thats more proficient than Em besides get on other peoples tracks and start dressing like a skateboarder and playing guitar and claiming blood when he not? Em went platinum on the Relapse album and that was his worse album...@anonymous im not saying Em is Twista or whatever but he has speed, after listening to Tech N9ne - Worldwide Choppers Tech is more than on point with speed, but lyrically Em still has him, so you got me there when it comes to speed, don't get me wrong Tech definately has lyrics, but not at the caliber of Em...@ the other anonymous obviously you don't know the industry which is why Wayne was on so many tracks, artist could care less about his lyrics it was having his name on their tracks so their album sells could go up is why he was on them, if more than half of those artist were to be on here and be they would tell you we had him on our tracks for album sells not because they like his music...managers that want their artist to make money and hits go with who and what's big at the moment. almost every rapper now tries to dress in skate shoes, tight pants, and spiked belt and rap about pushing weight when they aint sold nothing...Wayne if you look back at early Cash Money was ALWAYS IN BLUE OR BLACK NEVER RED and NEVER claimed blood...Drake is a prime example when he came out everyone wanted him on they track because his name will sell the track not his lyrics...when you first see a track you look at the name not the lyrics the names on the track is what makes you press play on that track and thats why Wayne is all those tracks...

    • Anonymous

Oh and speed rapping? Eminem ain't even fast. He is slower than yela and compared to tech is a dinosaur. Lyrically he could kill eminem as well. Listen to the word play on a mental giant something not heard from eminem since 2001

    • asher1985

why would wayne "battle" a bunch of guys who dont make hit records? he is way past that. wayne makes good MUSIC. simple as that. call it pop, call it hip hop, call it what you would like. the fact of the matter is he sells more then your favorite rapper, has more money. and is more technically proficient.

    • Anonymous

Wayne still appears on everybodys tracks and sells albums in the thousands and appears on covers. So he is amazing lyrically now too? Don't be an idiot and think before you post.

    • Marc Wilcox

anonymous if you looked at my comments i never said Em was a Hip Hop god, as far as what your saying Em is never to be compared to Rakim, KRS, LL Cool J, or Nas they are Pioneers, I like Tech N9ne but he not to be compared those individuals either not to mention a lot of people from KC don't even like Tech N9ne thats a well known fact he said it himself, as far as hanging with Em he could hang more so in speed rapping then actual lyrical...And i will go ahead and correct you now about Em being dead because if he was why does he have his own Radio station on Sirius XM? If he's dead lyrically why is Wayne, Nikki Minaj and everyone else and they mother wanting him on they tracks, if he dead why did Recovery go Platinum in a week? Detox isn't even out yet(probably won't be) for you or anyone to judge that album, if Slaughterhouse is overrated why did 2.0 Boys get the positive response it did when it came out? Why are they on the cover of XXL? I and a lot of others that do not like Wayne NOW can agree that he was better when and before Carter 2 came out heck everyone was bumpin Fireman on they radio and iPods...If Em is to be compared to anyone of the Pioneers it would be LL because they are battle rappers, thats what LL is known for and the reason why there is beef among rappers today...Just because Slaughterhouse is not on your local radio station don't mean they will be nothing individually they have all put out successful records and appeared on other rappers tracks throughout their time...Crooked I new CD if you know or not is highly anticipated...so before you start kicking out the nonsense your talking do your research first...and then come back and try again when you can state some facts...

    • Anonymous

Your ignorant. You think your right about everything when you only have a opinion. You mention slaughterhouse and eminem. Eminem has been dead for years lyrically. Slaughterhouse are overrated. Now of course Wayne fell off but imagine eminem back in 2001 and listen to his new shit especially with Dre on detox which is horrible. Eminem is nothing now. Slaughterhouse will never be anything. Place eminem on a song with tech n9ne and watch him get ripped to shreds by tech. Eminem isn't a hip hop god like you think. He is nothing compared to rakim, krs one, nas, Jay z, tech n9ne. He had a prime of three years when he was outstandingly good. I will give Wayne a chance if he goes back to his carter 2 sound.

    • Marc Wilcox

@Hellrazor see my point is proven to these Wayne heads and Jason on here straight silence and no comments back, im going to go ahead and stop it before someone says oh well Wayne got Platinum records, Em just went certified Diamond off Marshall Mathers LP a cd from 2000 Elvis can't even claim that...what else can anybody else come up with so i can continue to shut them down...because i can go all day with this...

    • hellrazor

definitely cosign. tell that to jason who one day hopes to be wayne's bride. carter 4's gonna have more pop songs and more of that goddamn auto tune. jadakiss spit bars with biggie and wayne's got a bunch of skinny jean wearin faggots ridin his jock & rappin a bunch of bullshit that sounds like a fuckin mattel commercial. wayne couldnt beat sarah palin in a rap battle

  • Anonymous

    death wish dey went in!!!

  • jason

You know why the writer says Tha Carter 4 is the most anticipated album of 2011? Wait for it.......BECAUSE IT IS! Wayne will move 500,000+ units in the 1st week, and over 2 million overall. Book it.

    • hellrazor

when it comes to wayne's WACK ass, you on some fatal attraction type shit. fuckin faggot, there are hundreds of MCs that outspit the object of your affection

  • jason

Why does Jadakiss want to be embarrassed AGAIN by Wayne? "Death Wish" wasn't enough? Get destroyed one time, come back for more I guess. Lil Wayne will murk his ass for the 2nd time.

  • hellrazor

i'll give kevin gary (the writer) credit for having to stomach to regard carter 4 as the year's most heavily anticipated album. you couldnt pay me to write such a thing. jada...what are you doing? it dont surprise me that the most decent verse (which will be likely) on that album wont come from wayne himself.

    • jason

Actually Lil Wayne already murdered Jadakiss on "Death Wish" you faggot, and he will do it again.

  • jason

This album will reach double platinum status without a doubt, and be a classic. Lil Wayne adds to his legendary status as one of the illest MCs to ever grace the planet.

  • Real_G

THA CARTER IV GNE BE CLASSIC!!!!!!!

None of those garbage ass albums by those wack ass rappers (LOL Slaughterhouse) will be better than Tha Carter 4 you retard.

Watch the Throne and Diablo III are the most heavily anticipated items of 2011.. by far

    • Ganjarelli

My most anticipated album of the year is probably Crooked I's "Million Dollar Story", then the upcoming Slaughterhouse album not titled "Monster, then either "Success is Certain" from Royce Da 5'9" or Bad Meets Evil 2 (Hard to pick on the last two). BTW, Diablo 3 is definently NOT coming out this year, and I would be surprised if Detox dropped either. Blizzcon coming soon though so.......
