Mobb Deep's Prodigy To Release "The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson Story EP" Today

The Infamous Prodigy wastes no time after his release and continues to work hard in 2011 by releasing a new EP for supporters titled "The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson Story EP" today.

Ever since Queens, New York emcee Prodigy was officially released from prison in early March, the Mobb Deep member has been keeping his itinerary full and he is adding to this by releasing a new EP today (April 19, 2011). Since his recent release, he's announced a book tour for My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy, he's released some tracks, including a shocking one featuring Nas, and he's been in the studio with associates since as early as the first day of his release

The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson Story EP will be released exclusively through Complex. It is a seven track EP featuring production from Sid Roams, King Benny and Alchemist. M-O-B-B supporters can also expect to find Havoc on a track as the lone collaborating emcee.

Prodigy is one of my favorite MCs, but my questions are. 1) Why drop an EP? Why not just whip up a few more tracks and make it an album? 2.) When are rappers gonna stop dick riding these gangsters from the 80s? We get it, you worship money and guns and you think you're a gangster, but that shit is tired already.

you idiot you know nothing about this. first get your gangsters right. bumpy johnson is from the the 1930 - 1960s. ok secondly P's name is Albert Johnson, so its a homage to a black gangster which he shares the same name sake. thirdly for u dummies, P just got out of prison and if saw the movie 'Hoodlum' then you'll see it starts with bumpy johnson being released from prison. This is a freebie from P and its FIRE something most rappers hope to produce just once in life. i could go on but i digress dummy.
