Have you ever seen Jay-Z or any of the Roc-A-fella family live in concert? If not prepare to set your VCR for February 22nd, because the cable network Showtime will be broadcasting a Jay-Z performing live in concert in Memphis, Tennessee. The concert will be held at the Mid South Coliseum and will feature Jay-Z, the Roc-a-fella family and a few special guests.

The concert will be considered as the opening performance before the heavyweight boxing match between Mike Tyson and Clifford Etienne. In a statement to the media, Showtime Networks President Jerry Offsay said, “Jay-Z is the perfect performer to kick off Showtime’s return to the musical event business”. Earlier today, Jay-Z received a Grammy nomination for his song “Song Cry”. Jay-Z will continue hitting the tour circuit by taking his act outside of the United States to travel abroad.
