Among the many collaborators in Nate Dogg’s 18-plus year career, one success was Ludacris’ “Area Codes.” Produced by Jazze Pha, the single from 2001’s Word of Mouf.
The two would work together again on Nate’s 2001 album, Music and Me on “Real Pimp” and 2004’s Luda album, Red Light District on “Child of Da Night.”
There is a certain void in hip hop’s heart that can never be filled.Glad we got to make history together. RT @SnoopDogg: RIP NATE DOGG.
While Warren G, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt have not publicly reacted to Nate Dogg’s death, Ludacris acknowledged his peer in saying, “There is a certain void in Hip Hop’s heart that can never be filled.”
