Curren$y’s Muscle Car Chronicles, a film with an accompanying soundtrack, was due in stores yesterday (March 15), but never made it to shelves.
According to XXLMag.com, the album is still on the way. The rapper’s manager explained that there was a “slight slow down in the project’ but asserted that “the album will drop,” and to “stay tuned for a new release date.”
The album is set to drop through Damon Dash’s BluRoc imprint on Def Jam Recordings.
In other news, Marc Ecko has begun a campaign against paddling in United States schools.
The campaign, called Unlimited Justice, centers on ending corporal punishment in America, which is still legal in 20 states.
“Every 23 seconds in this country, a public school student is beaten in their classroom by an educator,” says Ecko in a video explaining the campaign:

Finally, new information about DJ Hero 2 has come to light.
Three new mixes for the game are available in the form of the “Indie Hip Hop Mix Pack”: “My World Premiere” by Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf Mixed With “The Red (Instrumental)” by Jaylib, “Party Hard” by The Perceptionists ft. Guru & Camu Tao Mixed With “Ghostwriter” by RJD2, and “The Best Day” by Atmosphere (Remix by FSG).
The mix pack will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace and on PlayStation Store, and will be released as downloadable singles for the Wii.
