Well Deserved Lu... The Label still isnt right though... this is just loyalty from his fans who have always wanted the to the emperor shine..... Round of applause....

this is good and bad. shows lupe has some loyal fans but also makes the label seem right. also, any real lupe fan would not call the album whack. it is nowhere close to his first two albums but it is still better than most mainstream albums. would you rather have some other artist with not as much lyrical talent making these songs and gloryfing themselves or lupe who makes them better than they would have been and talks about other people? he did a great job with what he had to work with which makes him a great artist. he can change it up while still being himself, thats what great artist do. all i know is i bought one cause im not gonna not buy a lupe album and mess up the collection. sidenote: also got that lecrae album the same day which is another great one.

Numbers don't lie. This is off the strength of the first two albums.

sales has nothing to do with music, this album is dope, it could sell 1 in a month and it would still be dope, the quality of the music isnt affected by the amount of albums sold

I dont know what ppl are bitching about...Lasers is a good album. Sure its no classic but its far from whack. And it may not appease the pure hip hop heads but who give a fuk...thats like less than 5% of the people who listen to music. And they dont buy albums anyway as evident by his poor sales on the first two albums. So anyways I've already bought a copy and ima go to the signing even and get one more...lupe deserves all this success and more.

theres no way this album is gonna sell over 200,000 it might do a little over a hundred thousand cause of the hype that it had but this album is wack anyway worst album so far of 2011
