Minneapolis, Minnesota rapper 50 Tyson has not only become a YouTube sensation, he’s become a role model. The 17 year-old Autistic artist has been announced as a headlining rapper for his hometown’s 11th Annual Steps Of Hope walk for Autism awareness.
Over 1,500 people are expected to attend the March 6 event at Minneapolis’ Ridgedale Center. “I am excited to be able to do my part to raise money for autism research,” said 50 Tyson in a statement. The Hudson Records artist continues, “As an autistic rapper, it’s important that I demonstrate to other autistic individuals that you too can live out your dreams and not let autism slow you down.”
