Harlem, New York emcee Max B is planned to release his solo debut, Vigilante Season on Amalgam Digital Records on March 29. The onetime member of Jim Jones’ Byrdgang signed to the Boston, Massachusetts-based label in 2008 for a reported six-figure, three-album deal.

Max B is presently serving a 75-year sentence for a 2006 murder, which he is presently appealing.

Vigilante Season‘s first single is “Money Make Me Feel Better.”

UPDATE: Max B’s label, Amalgam Digital, has announced that they have made Vigilante Season for sale today. “Yo fuck this fake ass plastic music industry bullshit and all it’s smoke and mirrors….We are going to show you what being a real independent is all about,” wrote Next, the label’s founder.

The album is available on AmalgamDigital.com now. Previous artists who have signed with the label include Joe Budden, Lil B, Curren$y, Tash and Peedi Crakk.

UPDATE #2: Amalgam Digital announced that on April 26, Vigilante Season will come to a CD release exclusively available at the label’s website for purchase. Additionally, consumers will receive a specially-designed “Money Makes Me Feel Better” shirt by RocksmithToyko’s Eric Jordan. The CD/t-shirt package may be purchased here.
