As one of Hip Hop’s most recognized rappers Lil Wayne is typically used to competing against the likes of Rick Ross, Eminem, and other top rappers, but Lil Wayne now faces an interesting new competitor.

The Louisiana rapper is going head to head with Nabisco sandwich cookie Oreo on Facebook to receive the most “Likes” and beat the Guinness World Record for the most “Likes” in one day (24 hours).

“Everyone, please ‘Like’ this post. I’m trying to break the Guinness World Record for most ‘Likes’ on a post in 24 hours. Let’s get it!!!,” read a message posted on Lil Wayne’s Facebook fan page.

But Oreo seems to be no match for Lil Wayne. At one point Oreo’s post received 56,615 “Likes” while Lil Wayne’s Facebook post received a staggering 194,092 “Likes.”

Lil Wayne’s digital manager, Mazy Kazerooni, explained that Wayne’s bout against Oreo was primarily to showcase the rappers impact in the social networking world.

“I want people to think ‘Bieber, Gaga and Lil Wayne.’ The traffic we do is ridiculous and no one really knows,” said Kazerooni, according to Mashable.com.
