Looks like Hova is expanding his Roc Nation empire with artists from the UK. AllHipHop recently reported that Jay-Z has signed London native DJ and model Harley Viera-Newton to his imprint.

Newton has developed a sizable following DJing sets at clubs like Lit and Santos while attending New York University’s School of Individualized Study. She has also been featured in fashion publications like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaa and currently serves as Dior Beauty’s House DJ and Beauty Ambassador. 

“Aside from killing it on the one’s and two’s, Newton has caught the eyes of fashion insiders,” said a representative from Roc Nation. (AllHipHop.com)

Newton isn’t the first artist from England that Jay-Z has signed to Roc Nation. Last year, Jay signed singer Cher Lloyd, and earlier this year, he signed rapper K Koke to his imprint.
