Lupe Fiasco’s upcoming album, Lasers, has been in the works for what seems like forever, owing to disagreements between Fiasco and his label, Atlantic. But now that those differences have been settled some details are starting to emerge about the formerly stalled LP.
The Chicago emcee has confirmed a few of the guests set to appear on his third album. XXL is reporting that R&B hit-maker Trey Songz will feature on a Lasers track. Also making appearances are legendary production vets The Neptunes and British rapper Sway. More details, including Lu’s intentions behind choosing the indie-rock sampling single “The Show Goes On,” are available over at XXL.
“The Show Goes On” dropped back in October and its video premiered on Christmas Day. Lasers is scheduled to finally hit shelves on March 8th.
