In January of 2007, North Carolina Hip Hop trio Little Brother hurt the hearts of fans when the group announced that producer/deejay 9th Wonder would be parting ways with emcees Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh. Having released two albums in the years since, January of 2011 saw a reconciliation between the group’s unofficial leader and producer for two heralded albums.

Early this morning (January 2), Phonte revealed, via Twitter, that he and 9th are back on speaking terms, and provided fans with a picture.

9th Wonder retweeted several of Phonte’s statements to fans, but has yet to comment publicly. Rapper Big Pooh has also not commented publicly.

This mending comes after a 2010 year that saw the two state differences on Twitter and in viral video in April, over their last days working together. The last official collaboration between the parties was 2007’s “Breakin’ My Heart” on Little Brother’s Get Back album.
