Brooklyn, New York emcee Jay-Z will work this New Year’s Eve – for a commanding sum of money. The Roc Nation founder will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, performing at the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino for a private party of 2,500 attendees later this week. Per reports at OMG Music, the iconic emcee received $1,000,000 for the performance.

Reports indicate that Jay’s wife, Beyonce, will be with him, though the singer will not perform.

Other acts performing specially on the year’s final day include Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross.
