On February 1, 2011 February 22, 2011, California emcee trio Strong Arm Steady will release their anticipated album, Arms & Hammers. In development for nearly five years, the project will be executive produced by Talib Kweli, and released by his Blacksmith Music imprint. Although S.A.S’s album began as a major label project in 2007 with Warner Brothers backing, the release has now been announced to come through Fontana distribution.

According to the distributor, the trio of Krondon, Mitchy Slick and Phil Da Agony will be joined by the likes of Game, Too Short, KRS-One and Kurupt for the project.

Earlier this year, the trio released In Search of Stoney Jackson, a project entirely produced by Oxnard, California’s Madlib, on Stones Throw Records.
