Cee Lo Promises New Goodie Mob Music This Year, Album Next March

Fans of the Goodie Mob can anticipate a song or two before the year ends and a potential mixtape as the crew readies an official album for 2011.

Last month, we reported that Goodie Mob was deep into their reunion album. Now, fresh off the release of his latest solo effort, Cee-Lo has announced the anticipated Goodie Mob reunion album will be out soon. According to Mr. Green, the album will be released in 2011 as they look forward to a drop date at some time in March or April, as told to Much Music in a recent interview. Moving forward, Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo will join Green as they unveil a new record before this year ends. While time is running out, fans can also expect a possible mixtape from the crew before the first of the new year.

Speaking on their break up and subsequent title of their first album without Cee-Lo, One Monkey Don't Stop the Show, he noted there are no hard feelings.

“To make a long story short – we’re cool...I don’t wish for people to take that [album title] so literal any further, because it wasn’t like that.”
