Wiz Khalifa Introduces Limited Edition Sunglasses

Budding star Wiz Khalifa recently expanded his empire from Hip Hop to fashion. The Pittsburgh emcee has teamed up with Eyetique’s Norman Childs to create a pair of limited edition sunglasses called “The Elevators” (see above). Wiz also Tweeted a link for purchasing the sunglasses.

i'm not all for spending $200+ on some sunglasses (that look like my wife should be wearing, not a dude) but some of y'all are way too angry about DX posting ads on their site. do any of you fucks know what it takes to run a site? This shit ain't free. If you're spending all your time updating site (music, reviews, "stories") then you need to make money somehow to support your livelihood. If you don't like the fucking sunglasses you have an easy decision....don't buy them. The more money a site makes, the more they can invest back into the site. without ads, the site will be down within two months and you'll have to go over to allHipHop or SOHH who have just as many ads, and zero album reviews. so until that happens, shut the fuck up and move on with your day. OR.... make your own hip hop website, spend your own money setting it up, and don't allow any ads at all... see how long the site lasts. crying like bitches on here, upset with someone else's hustle.

the second post on this little thread??? look at the name. tracy morgan cock!!! fuck no. dx's album reviews suck anyways. i can understand cause the culture is pretty weak sauce right now. but we need more features on slaine and emcees like that. not fuckin articles with links to mediatakeout. with no original writing in those articles either, just copying and pasting in a general sense.

Of course you gotta have ads. No one is mad at that. & of course it costs money to run a site & takes a lot of effort as well. Especially a site with a clean layout like DX. All I'm saying is that if you are going to be making THAT much money off ads (cococola, etc.) than you should have top notch content to match. In the past DX has put me up on a lot of great new music as well as done some real interesting features, exclusive interviews, etc. Nowadays the features tend to be more along the lines of announcements of what Kanye posted on his twitter and shit. Stuff that you see on TMZ, not on a hip hop site. DX used to be a place to come to find out shit that WASN'T posted all over the other shitty sites. Now they do little to stand out. That's all I'm saying. DX doesn't need to ignore the mainstream to make the underground heads happy, but they do need to keep a decent balance.

DX is ass now Wiz Khalifa sunglasses? Are you serious?? There's so much good music out there & this is the type of shit that gets posted along with the constant announcements everytime Kanye, Drake or Jay Z breathes, pisses or farts DX is all about the money Probly took mad gwop to post this sunglass advertisement If you're gonna run the site like a magazine & have beer, liqour & cococola ads, then u at least gotta come up with content like a magazine... meaning exclusive stories, interviews, music by artists other ppl aren't up on yet, etc. Not just posting the same announcements about the same artists that every other site is posting. Starting to feel like TMZ around here man 4real also, with all the advertising money u guys got, pay some ppl who know how to fucking write beyond an 8th grade level. DX stays making mistakes. Which is fine, unless you have heinekin ads on your site & shit
