Having aired yesterday (November 7), the MTV Europe Awards honored Detroit emcee/producer Eminem. The Shady Records founder won “Best Hip Hop” for a year that’s watched him release Recovery, the emcee’s critically-acclaimed double-platinum seventh album.
Earlier this year, Eminem has won Teen Choice Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, and has been nominated for American Music Awards and others. To date, Recovery has sold approximately 2,899,000 units domestically.
The release features Lil Wayne, Rihanna and P!nk.
