Today (October 22) at University of Southern California’s Alumni Park, President Barack Obama is expected to join actor/R&B star Jamie Foxx and longtime Latin/Hip Hop band Ozomatli for the “Moving Forward Rally.” Doors open at 10 a.m. PST, with the event expected to begin promptly at 12:15 pm.

The event is said to be a rally encouraging voters to support the Democratic Party candidates in next month’s elections, and describe some policies the party is hoping to uphold.

Previously, Barack Obama has been at events and in public appearances with the likes of Ludacris, Kanye West and others. The Los Angeles-based Ozomatli at one time included Jurassic 5 members Chali 2na and Cut Chemist, including on their popular 1998 single, “Cut Chemist Suite.” Earlier this year, they released Mercer Street on Downtown Records.
