In the wake of T.I.’s 11-month sentencing, there has been little talk of the status of Grand Hustle Records. As B.o.B. continues to push towards a gold plaque with The Adventures of Bobby Ray and Killer Mike readies his 2011 continuation of the I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind series, little has been said about early Grand Hustle artists such as Big Kuntry and Young Dro.

The latter of the two came forward recently, to speak about his career, which has not made a commercial release since 2006’s Atlantic-backed debut, Best Thang Smokin’. Speaking with Pyramid West video about his fashions, Dro confirmed his next album. “P.O.L.O. (Players Only Live Once) is the title,” stated the rapper. “I’m always in Polo [Ralph Lauren]. I have like two, three million in clothes; [I] don’t even own no jewelry.” The rapper added that he’s promoting the upcoming release with his mixtape, Dro Street.

Additionally, Young Dro spoke about T.I., with whom he appeared on an unofficial remix to Kid Cudi’s “Erase Me.” Dro confirmed that T.I. has shot between six and eight videos prior to his incarceration.
