CBS’ 60 Minutes  is arguably the most respected news program on television. This Sunday night that bastion of journalism will focus its lens on Rap superstar Eminem.

Anchor Anderson Cooper will profile the Detroit emcee. The piece will be a profile of the rapper with specific attention being paid to his recent battles with addiction, his ongoing recovery, and his return to chart dominance. 60 Minutes airs at 7pm EST on CBS.

Eminem’s most recent album, Recovery, was released in June of this year. To date it has sold over 2.7 million copies making it the best selling release of 2010.
