The Clipse’s Pusha T may not be the only acquisition G.O.O.D. Music has come across in the last few months. According to the latest issue of XXL featuring Kanye West on the cover, Mos Def has also signed to the record label. According to the feature, “Just as Kanye returned to his roots to scoop up Common, he recently recruited his buddy Brooklyn rapper/singer/actor Mos Def into the G.O.O.D. Music fold.”

‘Ye teamed up with Mos on his debut albumCollege Dropout, on the single “Two Words.”

In other G.O.O.D. news, Kanye West will be executive producing John Legend’s next album. The LP will be Legend’s fourth solo album. This is not the first time the two have worked together. Their collaboration also dates back to College Dropout.

“I also worked on Kanye’s album a little bit, on the ‘Power’ remix and other stuff,” Legend told Billboard magazine. “But God only knows what Kanye is actually going to put on the album and what’s going to be on the other five-song album he’s putting out.”

Legend’s album does not yet have a release date.
