Bay Area Rapper/Producer Droop E, son of Rap legend E-40, has teamed up with the BLVCK SCVLE and Diamond Supply Co. clothing companies to release his most recent mixtape, BLVCK Diamond Life, and the tape has a specific theme – every track is built around a Sade sample.

The British-Nigerian soulstress Sade and her legendary R&B band, Sade, have been making music for nearly three decades and released the critically acclaimed Soldier of Love earlier this year. Sade should be no stranger to Hip Hop listeners with their string of Top 40 hits and previous work with Krayzie Bone on the emcee’s 2001 single “Hard Time Hustlin’.”

Droop E, who’s been in the music business since childhood, looks to use BLVCK Diamond Life to expose his range, marrying the mellow R&B of Sade with the Hip Hop he is more readily known for. Check out first single, “I’m Loaded” featuring E-40, and the rest of the mixtape here.
