Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton to Star in "Joyful Noise"

Queen Latifah and country music icon Dolly Parton are teaming up on the silver screen in the gospel film 'Joyful Noise'.

Rapper/actress Queen Latifah will join country music singer and actress Dolly Parton on the silver screen in the upcoming Warner Brothers/Alcon Entertainment film Joyful Noise.

The film is about two women who must work together to save their town's gospel choir when budget cuts threaten to shut it down. Latifah stars as a mother who takes on the role of choir director after previous director dies, while Parton will play opposite her as the deceased director's widow.

Joyful Noise, which is being helmed by director Todd Graff, marks Dolly Parton's first appearance in a film since 1992's Straight Talk. Latifah was most recently seen opposite rapper Common in Just Wright.

i think its sad that a person can sit back and live the life style of a homosexual,no shame and then speak the word of the gospel to imitate in a movie or play or whatever like there a follower of jesus when your living a abomination and could careless as long as its a check involved.to much phony ass shit in this world for people to start thinking real its all over.this just goes to show u that no matter what people will use the gospel of the lord to fatten there pockets even if there headed for hell as long as the check is written out they could care less sad.
