As if upcoming releases from Consequence, Kid Cudi and Kanye West aren’t enough to excite G.O.O.D. Music fans, up-and-coming rapper CyHi Da Prynce announced that he will join the Clipse’s Pusha T as the latest artist to sign with the label. The Atlanta emcee, who signed to Def Jam in February 2009, told XXLMag.com that it was L.A. Reid and Def Jam VP Bu Thiam who helped him connect with ‘Ye in Hawaii.

“It’s been a beautiful journey for me,” he said. “[Kanye] heard my verse [on Yelawolf’s ‘I Wish (Remix)’] and loved it,” he says. “After that, he took his time out to look my name up and he liked the music that I had…To me, he is the most complete artist in hip-hop, and I feel like that’s what I want to be. To have him as a mentor is just a blessing. I’m learning.” (XXLMag.com)

CyHi is also prepping the release of his upcoming EP The Royal Flush  for a late August/early September release.
