While the St. Lunatics have not released an album since 2001’s Free City, one Lunatic has spoken out verbally against former friend and front man, Nelly. Ex-member Slo’ Down recently told XXL that, back when the group was in its prime, Nelly took half of the earnings.

“I might fuck around and get emotional talkin’ about all how that money was getting split up. Shit was crazy,” he said. “Niggas was eatin’ and I wasn’t one of them niggas. I was snackin’… I was lunchin’, having lunch every now and then, and niggas was having four course meals and aint have shit to do with shit…Whatever we did, Nelly got half of that shit and the rest of the group split [the other half] up…And when it came to splitting the money I wasn’t part of the rest of the group…I ain’t write no lyrics or nothing but…I brought more to the stage show, [and] to the image.”

While Slo’ Down has called out Nelly over the issue, Nelly has yet to respond.
