Foxy Brown’s former therapist said she isn’t surprised to see the emcee in trouble with the law. As we reported, Brown was arrested on Wednesday of this week for using profanity and mooning her neighbor, a violation of an order of protection, according to authorities.

“It doesn’t surprise me,” the therapist noted with anonymity, according to The New York Daily News. “She’s obviously got a lot of issues and needs ongoing help, and I hope she gets it.”

The therapist went on to say that Foxy has had trouble regaining strength in her career after losing her hearing, adding that her struggles may fuel this behavior.

“I think she’s got a lot of frustration and a lot of sadness, and she’s trying to grab power where she can,” the therapist added.
Meanwhile, Foxy’s current manager, Bernadette Brennan maintains her client’s innocence. In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, Brennan said, “Foxy is completely innocent of these charges. She is in good spirits and will be performing at B.B. Kings this Sunday,”

Brown pleaded not guilty to these charges and was later released on $5,000 cash and $5,000 bond, refusing to comment on the matter. If she is convicted, she could see up to seven years in jail.
