Despite ongoing reports of courtroom battles for child support, Kelis says she has no issues with ex-husband Nas.

In an interview with usmagazine.com, the singer spoke on the matter. “Yeah everything’s fine. We are divorced, but there is no point to fighting — there is nothing to fight about. I am super happy; my life is awesome. We are friends, we get along now and it’s all good.”

The “Milkshake” star also spoke on the son the two artists share, Knight. “He is hilarious! He claps, he snaps and he waves. He is a shrunken little person and has a lot of personality,” adding that she wasn’t sure if he’d become a musician.

Kelis’ upcoming fifth album, Flesh Tone, is due in stores July 22.
