Even with the specter of his recent arrest in New York looming overhead, Kid Cudi still managed to make it down to Tennessee to perform at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. The rapper played his scheduled 2 AM slot, telling the fans, “I really wanted to be here tonight.” He is also expected to perform at tonight’s concert, co-headlining with Jay-Z.

Cudi was arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly smashing a 24 year old woman’s phone and then broke her apartment door off of its hinges. Police also stated that he was found in possession of a controlled substance of an unspecified amount.
