It was announced today that Atlanta rapper Diamond is the latest artist to sign with Sony’s Battery Records impriny. The former Crime Mob member is the latest addition to the label, that last month, signed Bronx rapper Mickey Factz.

“I’m very excited about joining the Battery/Jive family and know we are going to make a lot of great music together. This move will definitely provide the platform for me to continue making great music for my fans, and to continue repping for the females,” said Diamond.

With her debut Battery single “Lotta Money” due to hit radio next month, Diamond is at work on her solo debut. Leading up to this contract, she has worked with both DJ Smallz, as well as Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad” all-star remix.
