Kanye West was spotted in public after a self-imposed exile for the recording of his upcoming album in Hawaii.

According to nahright.com, the prodcuer was joined by Virgil Abloh, Don C, Plain Pat and Kid Cudi at the CV Lounge, as he premiered four new tracks from his forthcoming album.

DJ Semtex also spoke on what he’s heard of the album. “It’s all about a new Kanye West album. The album is coming in September. Okay, so I’ve heard the first Kanye West joint. I was sworn to secrecy. I’m not allowed to talk about it. All I can say is it is banging. If that’s a taste of what’s coming on the album, he has smacked it. Lyrically….he is saying things like, ‘Wow, he said that?’ It is going to shock everybody, the first record.”
