I’m sure you have all read the story by now, Cam’ron was arrested in Manhattan, NY on Monday July 29th when the NYPD pulled over his Land Rover for a traffic violation. When the cops searched his car they allegedly found marijuana, a.22-caliber handgun and a forged NY Fire Department placard (for good parking spots). Cam’ron is pleading not guilty to the gun and drug charges, no word if he is pleading lazy for the forged fake NYFD placard.

Cameron Giles aka Cam’Ron, has officially been charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a forged instrument. If convicted of all three offences he could face as much as 15 years in prison, oh boy. Cam made his ‘not guilty’ plea on Tuesday and was released on a $3500 bail. He is due back in court on August 9th to face the charges.

Rocafella Records released an official statement concerning Cam’ron’s legal woes; “All of us at Roc-A-Fella Records, as well as his family and fans, are fully behind him. We believe that when the truth of what happened comes out, Cam’ron will be vindicated.”
