Remy Ma's Appeal Case Is Going Well, Says Papoose

Rapper Remy Ma is optimistic about coming home early from Rikers Island Prison, said her husband and fellow emcee Papoose. The former Kool G Rap protege told Star magazine recently that he believes his wife will not serve her full eight-year-sentence, issued in summer of 2008. The sentence was issued after the onetime Terror Squad emcee was found guilty of shooting an associate in the abdomen in Midtown Manhattan in 2007.
“If justice is served, then she will come home now. My plan is to see her walk out of that hellhole and get a breath of fresh air, so we can enjoy life,” Papoose said.
