Jay-Z is no stranger to diss records. Throughout his Rap career, Hov has delivered more than a few lines aimed at other rappers, as well as a couple of diss records. However, on Tuesday, Complex.com released its list of “The Sneakiest Disses About Jay-Z,” chronicling the long history of subliminal lyrical attacks aimed at the veteran rapper himself.

Unsurprisingly, Nas made the list a handful of times with lyrics from his “We Will Survive,” “You’re Da Man,” and “Quick To Back Down.”

50 Cent also made the list with 2002’s “Be A Gentleman.”: “You gonna talk about your chips ’til we run in your crib / And you gon’ ask dumb questions like, ‘Can I Live?’ Look, if I shoot you, I’m famous / If you shoot me you’re brainless / You said it, I’m slick enough to twist your lines and send them back to you.”

Game’s subliminal hit comes from The Documentary track “Westside Story”: “Payback, homie I’m bringin’ CA back / And I don’t do button-up shirts and drive Maybachs.”

The magazine’s website also speculated lyrics that may be considered shots at Jay, including Lil Wayne’s “Show Me What You Got Freestyle”: “I must be LeBron James if he’s Jordan / No, I won rings with my performance / I’m more Kobe Bryant of the artists / Same coach, same game, been starting / Same Triangle offense.”

Jim Jones, Mobb Deep, Mase, and LL Cool J are just a few others who made the list.
