Ice Cube and director Marcus Raboy began shooting Monday on Friday After Next, the third installment in Cube's Friday movies.

In this third flick, Craig (Cube) and his cousin Day-Day (Mike Epps) are back in the hood afterliving in suburban Rancho Cucamonga in Next Friday. This time, the two have landed jobs as security guards at a bbq restaurant. The action takes place during the Christmas holidays, and a thief posing as Santa Claus breaks into Craig and Day-Day's place and steals their presents.

Cube started the series in 1995 with Friday which featured himself as Craig and a young, hilarious Chris Tucker as Smoky. Ice Cube will also oversee the production of the Friday After Next soundtrack.
