Trae Tha Truth

Trae Tha Truth goes in over a collection of other artists' songs.

Trae Tha Truth has released his new mixtape All-Star 2013: Take Flight on his website IAmTrae.com.

For the tape, the Grand Hustle rapper rhymes over a gang of other artists' records including Rihanna's "Pour It Up," Ace Hood's "Bugatti," Pusha T's "Millions" and Trinidad James' "All Gold Everything." The tape clocks in at 25 tracks.

In April 2012, Trae spoke with HipHopDX about aligning his ABN imprint with T.I.'s Grand Hustle, stating that it was inspiring him to do better work. “It would put it on a wider scale for those people who haven’t been exposed to me but I mean, with me, nothing is different over there,” Trae insists. “If anything, I’m just gonna work 50 times harder. I’m out here to let it be known that I’ma be here. But I think over there, I’ma just tighten up or maybe sharpen my work ethic a little more than it is. But for the most part it’s still the same. The only difference is Tip trying to make sure that my movement gets taken [farther], but he doesn’t want to change the movement or reroute it.”

This design is wicked! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

Texas is pretty fucking amazing... EXCEPT THE POLICE FORCE!! Very strict overthere (but thats because im a SF girl who love's weed and driving 75 on the highways. But Texas artists don't try to hop on whats just "hot" at the moment, they have their OWN movement! The Bay Area let's some prick from Canada and Wayne steal their whole sway and instead of saying "fuck them, its E 40 and Nikatina ALL DAY!" they just BUMP THE SHIT OUT OF IT IN EVERYCLUB TO THIS DAY!!!!!! I wonder if in Houston, they let ASAPs Purple Swag slide or if they still slap him overthere...................

Had a chance to visit family in Houston last weekend. First time being there and I have to say it was awesome!! Great city, great people, great food. Born and raised in Cali but if I had to move to another state Texas would be it.

REAL TALK, PEOPLE UNDERESTIMATE HOUSTON BECAUSE IT'S IN THE SOUTH, BUT IT'S A DIVERSE, MODERN CITY! I LIVE IN THE BAY AREA AND I WOULD RATHER LIVE IN HOUSTON.
