DreamWorks has said that it will be aiming for the tone of 1970s car-culture films. The movie will center around Paul playing a street racer who joins a New York-to-Los Angeles race to get revenge for being framed for the death of a friend.

Cudi will play a member of Paul’s crew. The film will be produced by Dominic Cooper and Imogen Poots, and directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor).
