It’s been seven years since J Dilla passed away due to complications with Lupus, but that doesn’t mean Hip Hop has forgotten him. Now, in a recent report from AllHipHop, the headliners for the second annual “Dilla Day Tribute” concert have been announced.

Detroit veteran Royce Da 5’9″ and Brooklyn rhymer Talib Kweli have been tapped to headline the annual concert, which will happen this February 9 at the famed Fillmore Detroit. Other performers include Dilla’s affiliates Frank-N-Dank, Illa J, DJ House Shoes, DJ Spinna and others.

The concert, which will be hosted by Yolanda “Yo-Yo” Whitaker and Grap Luva, will also ring in the premiere of Lost Scrolls Volume I, a collection of lost J Dilla productions set to drop via Delicious Vinyl later this year.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the J Dilla Foundation, a non-profit charity organization founded by Dilla’s mother Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey. Tickets for the concert can be purchased through Live Nation or the venue’s website.
