Even though it’s hardly a household name like G.O.O.D. Music or the Roc, Ludacris’ label Disturbing Tha Peace has racked up a number of successes in its twelve year run. Now, it looks like Luda is taking a Texas couple to court over the name of his imprint.

According to a recent report from TMZ, Ludacris has filed suit against Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown copy illegal use of his copyrighted name. The Texas-based couple has been using the phrase “Disturb Tha Peace” in marketing their audio equipment and recording business.

Luda claims that he’s owned the copyright to the aforementioned phrase since 2003 and that the couple’s use of the name will mislead consumers over his affiliation with the products. Luda is suing the duo for damages and lawyer’s fees
