The winner, hand picked by MURS 3:16, will win a trip for two to the closing PAID DUES show in Berkeley to see De La Soul, Blackalicious, Little Brother and more! How do I enter this contest?  

1. Create the most creative video-essay explaining what Paid Dues means to you. Post Video on your Myspace page.  Maximum length: 1 minute 30 seconds.

 2. Complete the PAY YOUR DUES Check-list:

  • Customize your Myspace Page Using the Paid Dues Theme
    • The Paid Dues Theme includes using color schemes, banners, and artwork from the Paid Dues Myspace site, and promoting artists associated with the Paid Dues Festival. Visit www.myspace.com/paidduesfestival to access banners, icons, and images.
  • Post a Paid Dues Bulletin
  • Put all Paid Dues Artists, Sponsors/ Media Partners, Guerilla Union and Paid Dues on your top friends
  • Send a shout-out (leave a comment) on all the Paid Dues artist’s Myspace pages

  • Send a shout-out (leave a comment) on all Sponsors and Media Partners supporting Paid Dues
    • Please see: Paid Dues Media Partner and Sponsor Section below for complete list
  • Register and post a comment on the Guerilla Union message board in the Pay Your Dues Contest Forum

 3. Once you complete all the steps, send an email to contest@guerillaunion.com . The subject line must read: I’m Down to Pay My Dues. Include the following information in the body of the email:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Home address
  • Link to your Myspace page
  • Screen name on Guerilla Union message boards
  • Attach screen shots in 4 separate folders (Send as zip-files) to the email:

    • Artist Shout-Outs
      • (1) posted comment from as many artist’s Myspace pages
