Kid Cudi Working With Plain Pat, Emile On New LP

Kid Cudi said on Twitter that he will be reuniting with producers Plain Pat and Emile Haynie for his forthcoming "Man On The Moon III" album.

Kid Cudi said in a tweet yesterday (July 25) that he will be working on his forthcoming Man On The Moon III album with Patrick "Plain Pat" Reynolds and Emile Haynie, his former business partners and the producers who handled the much of the beat work on Kid Cudi's first two albums, 2009's Man On The Moon: The End Of Day and 2010's Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager

Kid Cudi made the announcement responding to a tweet from a user identifying himself as Occam Razor.

In 2011, Kid Cudi said that Dream On, the imprint he started in 2009 with Plain Pat and Emile Haynie had been shut down. "I wanted to try something new, and I wanted to take control of things myself," Kid Cudi said to Complex. "Those are still my guys, Pat and Emile, and I'm still going to work with them in the future. When we start working on Man on the Moon III I’ll be calling them up to see if they want to be a part of it. I know Emile is definitely down. We had an issue, but we’re men and we were able to figure it out and move forward. There’s no hard feelings."

Kid Cudi produced several songs on his third album, 2013's Indicud.

Prior to the release of his new album, the Ohio native will be on "The Cud Life Tour 2013," which is scheduled to kick off September 6 at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Very excited about this news. Cuder is best when he has a wealth of producers to take influence from in his direction.

Thank god. I Love the Man on the Moon vibe much better than his rock vibe. Dot Da Genius is cool but Cudi needed to get back with these dudes. Wasn't really feeling his last 2 albums, though 'Teleport 2 me' might just be my favorite Cudi song. That video went unnoticed as well, dope af.
