As part of Vibe magazine’s “Special Eric ‘Eazy-E’ Wright Edition,” the late Eazy-E appears as the cover artist for the September issue. This special edition features quotes from those who were close to Eazy, including his son Lil Eazy-E. With most of the media hype being swirled around Ice Cube and Dre, we felt that E’s story needed more touch ups. More spotlight on his personality and how he was as an individual. We painstakingly interviewed many of those who worked, won and willed his success to also see his loss to AIDS devastate his plans and fracture his support system.
